These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at the5ive.org (the “Site”) and your booking and use of the facility operated by the 5ive (“the 5ive”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By making a booking or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
the 5ive is a five-a-side football facility located in West Trinidad.

2. Definitions
“Booking” means a reserved time slot on our pitch. “Customer”, “you” and “player” mean any person who books a slot, plays, or enters the premises. “Facility” means our pitch, equipment and surrounding premises.
3. Bookings and payment
3.1 Bookings are made through the Site. You do not need to create an account; checkout is completed as a guest, but you must provide a valid email address so we can send your confirmation.
3.2 A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full and you receive a confirmation email. An unpaid or pending booking does not hold a slot.
3.3 Prices shown are in Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD).
3.4 Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider, Powertranz. We do not see, handle or store your full card details. Your card information is collected and processed directly by Powertranz under their own terms and security standards.
3.5 You are responsible for booking the correct slot, date and time. Please check your confirmation email and contact us promptly if anything is wrong.
3.6 Marketing communications. By making a booking, you agree that we may contact you by email and by SMS or WhatsApp with occasional promotions and updates about the 5ive, including leagues, tournaments, merchandise, events and special offers. You can opt out of these promotional messages at any time (see the Privacy Policy). Opting out will not affect the booking-related messages you need to receive.
4. Cancellations, reschedules, refunds and no-shows
4.1 Customer cancellation. You may cancel a booking for a full refund only if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start time are not eligible for a refund.
4.2 Reschedules. If you cancel within the 48-hour window and a suitable alternative slot is available, we may, at our discretion, try to move your booking to another slot instead of you forfeiting it. This is a goodwill attempt offered within reason. It is not guaranteed and cannot be confirmed in advance.
4.3 No-shows. If you do not attend your booked slot and have not cancelled, you forfeit the full amount paid. No refund or credit is given for a no-show.
4.4 Cancellation by the 5ive. If we cancel a slot you have booked (for example, due to weather, maintenance, power supply, equipment failure or an unavoidable scheduling conflict), you will receive a credit toward another slot of equal value. Company cancellations are settled by credit, not cash refund.
4.5 How refunds are issued. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through Powertranz. Processing times depend on Powertranz and your bank.
4.6 Package bookings (monthly and trimonthly). Package sessions are not refundable in cash. They are handled by credit as follows:
- If you cancel a session at least 48 hours before its start time, we will credit you one time slot to use toward a future booking.
- If you cancel a session less than 48 hours before its start time, we will try to find you an opening at another time, but this is not guaranteed and you will not receive a refund or a confirmed credit.
Credits must be used within 30 days of issuance
5. Facility rules and footwear
5.1 Our pitch is an artificial turf surface over a shock-pad underlay. To protect the surface and reduce injury risk, the following footwear rules apply:
- Not permitted: traditional moulded or studded grass football boots (firm-ground or soft-ground boots).
- Permitted: turf boots (astro trainers), sneakers, socks only, or barefoot.
5.2 Playing barefoot is allowed but carries a greater risk of injury. If you choose to play barefoot, you do so entirely at your own risk.
5.3 You must follow all posted rules and the reasonable instructions of our staff while on the premises.
5.4 Players under 18. Any player under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult who is present at the facility for the duration of play. We may refuse play to an unaccompanied minor.
6. Conduct, right to refuse entry and right to eject
6.1 We may refuse entry to, or remove from the premises, any person who is abusive, threatening, intoxicated, behaving dangerously, damaging the facility, or otherwise breaching these Terms or our facility rules.
6.2 No refund is given where a person is refused entry or removed for any of the reasons in clause 6.1.
6.3 You are responsible for the conduct of everyone in your group and for any damage they cause to the facility or equipment.
7. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability
7.1 Assumption of risk. Football and similar physical activity carry an inherent risk of injury, including sprains, strains, fractures, collisions and other harm. By booking and playing, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept the ordinary risks that come with participating in the sport at our facility.
7.2 You confirm that you and everyone in your group are physically fit to play and have no medical condition that makes participation unsafe. You play at your own risk in this respect.
7.3 What we remain responsible for. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
7.4 What we are not responsible for. Subject to clause 7.3, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from the inherent risks of play, your own actions or the actions of others in your group, your failure to follow the facility rules, or for personal belongings lost, stolen or damaged at the facility. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Cameras and recordings
8.1 Match recordings. We do not record or save footage of matches by default. We will only record a match where a customer specifically requests it. Any footage handled at a customer’s request is dealt with in line with our Privacy Policy.
8.2 CCTV. We operate CCTV on the premises for security purposes only. CCTV footage is used solely to protect the safety and security of people and property at the facility. It is not used for marketing, coaching or any other purpose. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
9. Intellectual property
The Site, the 5ive name, logo, content and branding are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without our permission. If you post a review, comment, photo or tag relating to the 5ive on public platforms, you grant us permission to re-share that content on our own channels with credit, unless you ask us not to.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the Site at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Material changes will be posted on the Site.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago. We ask that you raise any complaint with us first so we can try to resolve it directly.
